Julie Carman is feeling happy.

Visual Storyteller · September 12, 2016

Hi everyone. I'm new to facebook today as I'm a real technophobe! so hubby David has set this up for me to see what all you crafters are doing out there. Firstly, I'd like to thank Jodie for letting me join her group. I live in the Highlands of Scotland and although it's stunningly beautiful, it's also very lonely and isolated compared to the town and city life I always had before we moved here 5 years ago. We're looking to move back to Plymouth where I lived for 18 years and had loads of friends before moving to the Midlands and then to here. There seems to be lots of crafty people in Plymouth so hopefully I will be able to join a craft club of some sort for a natter when we eventually move back there. There are some beautiful creations on this site. It's nice to see what other people are making. I often forget to take photos of my cards as I don't have a camera phone, but I will dig out some pics of my many cross stitch triumphs from a while back and some of my cards that I did remember to take a pic of and put them on to get me started in the group. This all seems too technical already!! Hope you'll all help me out here and bear with me for being such a numpty as it'll be lovely to have the company and share the ideas. Can I ask you Jodie Johnson if you are coming back onto our C+C or are you just doing the American version? I've missed watching you having a laugh and your brilliant demo's and I can't make out whether the USA thing is online or on TV. Confused newby alert!!!!!! Thank you for setting up this site. It's great to join the real world again.

Evelyn Hamilton Brown Its somewhere i've always wanted to go but never been, especially in winter although I probably would never get back through the snow to Glasgow. My sons girlfriend's brother & wife live there and a couple of years ago they went up just before Xmas as her sister in law just had a baby. They couldnt get home because of the snow but finally made it home on Xmas Eve x

Maureen Robinson Evelyn Hamilton Brown I was born and brought up in Balmacara but I left home in 1976. I joined the WRAC (Army) as I didn't fancy any of the jobs on offer locally. A constant problem for the youngsters. I still have family there though not as many now unfortunately but do get to visit quite often. Looking to move back north when the old man retires. x
